Barron J. Damon

Barron J. Damon has been a thought leader in the non-profit sector for over 15 years.   Barron is the current VP of Partnership Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle and has held several roles including Interim Executive Director and VP of Operations at the BBBS agency in South Carolina. During his tenure in South Carolina he was appointed by Governor Beasley to serve on a statewide mentoring council that provided strategic direction and policy advocacy to hundreds of youth serving organizations.

Barron has extensive knowledge in the area of volunteerism, recruitment, philanthropy, and partnership development and has trained thousands of volunteers during his professional career. Barron has been a featured guest on several TV, and radio shows discussing topics related to youth development and philanthropy.

Barron is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Management from Webster University. He also completed post graduate work at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in Business and Public Health and a recent American Express Leadership Fellow.

Barron is currently one of the Managing Partners of the Business of Life Coaching and Consulting. Barron is a seasoned Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. As a franchisee of a well-known child care facility his business was awarded the Top Child Care Facility in the area during his ownership of Trust Company. As a Philanthropist Barron is one of the founding members of an Award winning Giving Circle and served on the National Board of Directors for the Community Investment Network. He served on the Community Giving Committee for the Triangle Community Foundation and has several causes that he supports.

Dr. Katrina Damon

Dr. Katrina Damon currently works for Cisco Systems. She is a seasoned professional with 20 years of expertise in management and administration of information technology operations, staff, and resources with experience in higher education, corporate, government, and community organizations. Throughout her career, she has been a versatile individual with a proven record of providing organizational leadership and support to public and private sector organizations. Some of the companies she worked with include AT&T Bell Labs, BELLCORE (Bell Communications Research), Milliken & Company, Birmingham Southern College, and Benedict College where she served as an award winning Network Administrator. Dr. Damon is a graduate of Jackson State University where she earned a BS in Mathematics and a Masters in Science degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in Computer Information Systems. Dr. Damon also completed a Doctor of Management Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix which highlights her commitment to lifelong learning. Katrina recently completed her PMP for Project Management. Katrina also holds certifications in ITIL and is a Six Sigma yellow belt. Dr. Damon is currently a managing Partner of the Business of Life Coaching and Consulting and the previous owner of Right Time Kids, INC.
